Data Centers Near Me

Is there a data center near this address?

Type an address, a city or a ZIP code. You get everything on public record within 5, 10 and 25 miles, how precisely each one is located, and the documents behind it. Nothing here is held back or paid for.

Used for this one lookup and never stored. Matched with the US Census Bureau geocoder (this site is not endorsed by the Census Bureau) and Photon, using OpenStreetMap data.

Questions people ask

Where does this data come from?

Federal EPA permit records, county and state planning GIS layers, assessor parcel records, grid interconnection queues, the EIA-861 utility filing, OpenStreetMap and several named public directories. Every campus page lists the documents behind it with their dates.

How accurate is the distance?

It is a straight-line distance from the point you typed to the point we hold for each campus, and it is only as precise as that point. Each row says whether the location came from an assessor parcel, a filed coordinate, a mapped building or an approximate point. Campuses we can place only to a county are excluded, because a distance to a county is not a distance.

Does an empty result mean there are no data centers near me?

No. It means nothing appears in the public records we collect for that area. Coverage is deeper in some states than others, and a project can exist without appearing in a filing we read.

Do data centers lower property values?

The evidence cuts both ways and we do not state it as fact. One study found homes near data centers appreciated 42% against 41% for comparable homes, while industrial adjacency inside a quarter mile does show a discount in other work. We report both and conclude neither.

Is my address stored?

No. It is used for the one lookup and never stored. The lookup runs in your browser against a public list of coordinates.

Coverage is not uniform across the country. National sources cover every state; county filings, assessor parcels, air permits and corporate registries are collected only where a government publishes them.

What each source contributes

What this is not. We are an independent aggregator of public records. We are not a consultant, a valuer, a law firm or an environmental assessor, and nothing here is advice about a property transaction.
